Sahar Tarzi (b. 1989, Tehran) is a sculpture and installation artist based in Bergen, Norway, working primarily in ceramic, plaster, and mirror. She is completing a Master of Fine Art at the Faculty of Fine Art, Music and Design (KMD), University of Bergen (2025–27).
Her practice centers on Ayeneh-Kari, the traditional Persian technique of mirror mosaic work, which she combines with ceramic and cast-plaster forms to build sculptural and installations exploring fragility, reflection, and memory. Recent pieces such as Ember (2026) and Swallow (2026) fuse mirrored surfaces with fired ceramic, while earlier works like Liquefy Memories (2024) and Memory Erosion (2025) use plaster and mirror to render fractured, eroded forms.
She has held solo exhibitions including Swallow (2026, Clean Kokos, Bergen), Manipulation (2020, Vartan Gallery, Tehran), Nightmare (2019, Shirin Gallery, Tehran), and Nature (2017, Saqa Gallery, Tehran).
